How do Paste a logo with a transparent background into a PowerPoint slide on a Mac?
Q. I have a logo in Adobe Illustrator, but I can't seem to paste it into a PowerPoint presentation without getting a white rectangle behind it. The background of the slide may either be a gradient or a very faded photo, so I can't have that white rectangle show up--I just want the logo itself. Does anyone know how to do this? Thanks!

A. Who knows what Adobe is putting on the clipboard? Save the picture and then use Format > Background in PowerPoint to choose the picture as a background.

What is the most efficient way to make your own logo tee?
Q. I am going to start my own clothing line with a simple tee and logo.Is it more efficient to make the logo and print it at home.Or is it more efficient to get them printed by a company? I kind of want to do it at home,so is there any precautions I need to take,like-should I use sew on or lamination logos?Where could I find good lamination logos that won't wash off in the washer and dryer?

A. O.K. Here it goes. My two cents. Just a few things to keep in mind. First you need to know if you are sewing it yourself in which you will have to hire a couple of people, depending on the volume of sales or you can outsource like we do which for us is a lot cheaper than having 10-20 employees sewing at $10-$15 hr. So you need to know how much is the cost per unit? $3.00-$5.00 a unit??? does it include hang tags, company label, price tags, bar code and polybag. Will it be shipped all together or will it be boxed by style, size or combination of both. Then you need to add your shipping cost. the cost manufacturing company will charge to ship items to you. How do I create my own logo? Do I have to register it with a lawyer? What is the process to register a logo?
Q. I want to create my own logo but do not know what the steps are to incorporate it as my own. What are the step? Can I just put a logo on the product (which is my own ) I am selling and just sell it like that or do I have too register it some how with a lawyer? If so how and what are they steps too complete and register a logo under my ownership? Thanks.
