I'm in the market for 4gigs of memory for my soon to be laptop. Kits are hard to find and aren't usually in stock. I'm buying Crucial brand by the way. I can get 2gb sticks for cheaper than 2gb sticks in a kit. But I heard kits are better since they're more likely to work together better? Is there really a difference if I were to buy just 2gb sticks of the same kind rather than an overpriced kit of the same product? Or is there something special about purchasing paired memory in kits? Asked by alpha_technogoddess - Thu Aug 9 17:54:57 2007 - - 2 Answers - 0 Comments A. Meh, there is really no need to get memory in a kit, especially if you are going Crucial. The main reason they have kits are so people get memory that will run well in dual channel mode. But as long as you get two of the same model memory, you are not going to have any issues. If you have links to a particular kit that would be great too, otherwise just an online retailer of quality kits would be nice. Q. I want to finally get my teeth whitened since I've had them stained for quite a while. I don't want to spend more than $600 and I was wondering if take home kits that dentists give are any good and last any? Is it hard to do it yourself? If I do it in office, which procedures are recommended (like zoom or whatever). I want one that gets me the whitest and lasts a long time, while still falling in my budget. Please help, Thanks! Asked by Jesse - Fri Jul 10 15:25:05 2009 - - 2 Answers - 0 Comments A. There are many different ways to whiten your teeth. First you can try over the counter methods such as crest whitestrips. They do work but the percentage of peroxide is not as high as you would get in the dental office. In the dental office, there are 2 ways to bleach. ..with take home trays that you put the bleaching gel in and wear them daily until you get the results you want and then the zoom that is done in a couple hrs and you get instant results. If you do have the zoom done, your dentist should give you the bleaching trays with it because you have to touch it up every so often to keep them white. most dentists don't tell you this and that is why it fades over time.. zoom costs about 500 and tray method about 350..at least that is… [cont.] Answered by toothfairyfriend - Fri Jul 10 18:29:29 2009 From Yahoo Answer Search: "Kits"
