A. Hi, It's not illegal to get Jailbreak. It is illegal to use it. Stupid, isn't it? Anywho... Umm... If you don't mind breaking the law it is a very good piece of software, Just enter the address ' jailbreakme.com on your ipod and go thought the steps. Hope this helped..

A. jailbreaking means installing a back door to install 3rd party software through a software called installer which will be automatically installed after jailbreaking. if ur ipod touch firmware is 1.1.1 just go to jailbreakme.com if it is 1.1.3 or 1.1.4 use ziphone. thats the best i ever used and the safest. u need to add sources to the installer for more applications to install. there are all types of apps u can install.

Q. How do I change my tethered jailbreak to an untethered jailbreak? I jailbroke my iPod Touch 3.1.2 with blackra1n and after that I found out that it was a tethered jailbreak. I want to change my tethered jailbreak to an untethered one without restoring, because if I restore my iTouch it will automatically update to 3.1.3 and I'm unsure if it will do an untethered jailbreak on a 3.1.3.

A. Dont upgrade to 3.1.3 yet. Stay on 3.1.2 or lower because there is not an update to jailbreak 3.1.3 yet. If you have already updated, restore your ipod to a previous version. Like the guy above me said use blackra1n. Blackra1n is easy, fast, and free. It only takes around 1 min to jailbreak your touch, and it does all the work for you. A. You don't need to jailbreak anything. Download the Zune software, and it will automatically add your music (wether purchased from the marketplace or not) to your "collection" which then can be sync'd to your Zune HD. Just put it in your "My Music" folder, and it should automatically add it.

A. Okay, Jailbreaking an iPod touch opens it up to many third-party applications that the Apple corporation cannot offer. Things ranging from new skins for your iPod to applications such as OfflineMaps are available when you do so. A. The best software for jailbreaking an ipod is spirit. make sure your ipod has 3.1.3 software before you do so. after jailbreaking with spirit you will not loose anything off of your ipod. after that, look up some tutorials on youtube for the best cydia applications avaliable.

A. tethered u have to plug it in the computer to turn in on even if it is a full battery but the not tethered u can turn on when ever u like btw the only tethered ipod/iphones are the 3rd generation so u should have no problems!
